Managing your team and organization settings

Organization Settings

This guide explains how to manage your organization settings, users, and permissions in SyncCMS.

To access your organization settings, navigate to Administration > Organization in the sidebar.

General Settings

In the General tab, you can update:

  • Name: The internal identifier for the organization.
  • Display Name: The name shown in the dashboard.

Users & Permissions

You can invite team members to help manage your projects and respond to chats.

Inviting a User

  1. Go to the Users & Permissions tab.
  2. Click Invite.
  3. Enter the Email Address of the person you want to invite.
  4. Click Invite.

The user will receive an email invitation to join your organization. You can view pending invitations in the Pending Users tab, where you can also resend invites or revoke them.

Managing Roles

Once a user has joined, you can edit their permissions:

  1. Click Update next to the user's name.
  2. Assign Roles or specific Organizations they have access to.
  3. Save changes.

Delete Organization

If you need to delete your organization, scroll to the bottom of the General Settings page.

  • Delete this organization: This will permanently delete the organization, all associated projects and data. This action cannot be undone.
